Donate to CCR

A registered non-profit organization, Citizens for a Canadian Republic needs your help in getting our message heard. Even though staffing is handled by a national network of very dedicated volunteers, there are many administrative costs that can only be defrayed by outside donations. Keeping our website running and paying for printing and other promotional material are some of those expenses. So it goes without saying that contributions to help offset these costs are greatly appreciated.

To donate and be part of CCR's efforts, please click the Donate button.

Note: Yes, CCR is a registered non-profit organization (NPO). However, according to the Income Tax Act, we don't fit the definition of a registered charity because our goal is for 'Political Purposes,' as described in item 2) below:

The courts have determined political purposes to be those that seek to:

1) further the interests of a particular political party; or support a political party or candidate for public office; or
2) retain, oppose, or change the law, policy, or decision of any level of government in Canada or a foreign country.

So regretfully, we cannot issue an official donation receipt for income tax purposes.

Thank you for your support!
